Valentine’s Day Celebrations and Gifts – Truly Special all over the World

Valentine’s Day CelebrationEach country honours its love saints who protect all those courting, in marriage, or to date one day. But the day when presents are given, when flowers are sent, and cards are exchanged vary from one country to another. As well as traditions of celebrating the romantic day.

In Japan there are special Valentine’s Days for women and men. At first women present chocolate for men (note, there are different kinds for sweethearts and for collegeagues, friends, or relatives: the former is given hon-mei and the latter eats kiri-choco). Then one month later, on 14 March, men in return present women with chocolate. As a rule white chocolate is chosen, because this day is known as the White Day.

In Britain St. Valentine’s Day and presents are highly personalized. As a rule each person in relationship takes time to create a verse or a poem, to make a card, and to give a unique present to his or her honey. The United Kingdom is a very romantic country, as St. Valentine’s Day approaches, more and more tabloids, magazines, journals, TV programs, and shows get devoted to this amazing day citing the most incredible love declarations.

On the smallest continent Valentine’s cards are the most unique, Australian men make or order unbelievable cards to their beloved. As a rule each card is a masterpiece consisting of a cushion, flowers, chocolates, sea-shelves, ribbons, and many many more. It’s an established business in Australia to make the most expensive Valentine cardsin the world.

In Scandinavian countries St. Valentine’s day is celebrated at home or at restaurants meaning a candle lit dinner with a bottle of champagne and chocolates; a red rose is a leading symbol.

In Finland it’s a custom to give presents to all your friends. It’s the day of appreciating the company of those who support you. In Slovenia St. Valentine’s day means the beginning of spring, though the love day is celebrated on 12 March.

As you see celebrations and traditions of St. Valentine’s differ from country to country, but love loses nothing. May your love be as strong and engaging as a hurricane. Happy St. Valentine’s Day!

Online Dating Story

online datingHello everyone!

Here me again! Guys, I have a question to all of you: what do you think of online dating? Is it worth time and effort? Or is it bullshit bringing no result?

Frankly speaking, both tastes and opinions differ. You will surprise no one when talking about the Internet popularity and its high usage. But what about internet dating? To be competent I carried out my own research. It’s addictive. And actually it’s effective.

This blog devoted to my female and male friends, and here is a happy online dating story of Ammie, a nice gal who has great looks and even greater personality, but wasn’t successful in dating men. A friend of mine met her boy-friend using one of online dating sites. They are really happy, and it’s a pleasure to look at them.

So was her experience totally positive? Nope, it was none of the kind. Ammie got to know a great many people, with some of them she chatted, with some she flirted, with some she discussed politics, religion, etc. The problem with online dating Ammie faced was that it was very difficult to turn online relationships to real ones.

As Ammie told me she had had three dates with guys she met on the web. The first one she made an appointment with was a complete moron. He was a nice guy on the Internet, but he turned out to be a skunk in real life.

Ammie was frustrated. “Are all the guys the same as that jerk?”. Before she had already given her cell number to two other guys. One of them called and began talking about having phone sex. She made a joke and asked, “Why not have a real one?” Actually, it was a problem with him. Guys, Ammie was so upset that she decided to quit with online dating and deleted her profile.

Two days later another guy called (he was the last one from that online community who had her number). He sounded all right. She was busy when he called first, he went on calling her sometimes, and they agreed to meet. Ammie thought it was another waste of time. But Life had something different on her mind. This was how Ammie met her current boyfriend.

You see, online dating can bring lone people together. When you are patient, brave, and lucky enough.

Dating Blog Introduction

loving heart
Hi World,

This is my first post on AceMila’s Blog!!!

I’m extremely excited to start a new blog hoping that you will like coming here and will become my sincere friends!

Yeah, there is a blog. But what am I going to write here about? I’ll tell you a story and you will see what is my niche 😉

Yesterday a friend of mine called me and said that she had parted with her boy-friend 😦 Oh, Gosh, poor she!!! Yep, and they were dating for almost four years, they even lived together.

So why did they break? They just got that love was over, and only a habit connected them. Sadly… But this is life…

She is in dispair… She understands that relationships won’t be the same, they have parted… But she got used to him… and now she just isn’t sure that she will meet that guy she can fall in love with…

Surely, one day she will 100% meet that very guy who will adore her, whom she will love… But before that day some there is enough time for my friend, for you, and me to become confident pros in charming and attracting men (and women – for men) … (and to move that anticipated day to earlier time)!!!

Welcome aboard Love Ship heading to a Mutual Love, Understanding, and Happy Life island!
